Lend Time and Expertise by Volunteering!
GroundWork group IT Board Matching and Development Program
Technology Leadership at the board level can help nonprofits take a strategic approach to technology, making better use of technology tools at hand and increasing the capacity to serve clients. Through the GWg IT Board Matching and Development Program, we match IT Professionals with nonprofit organizations whose missions appeal to them. Full Members of GroundWork group are eligible for the program at NO COST.
The program is WIN-WIN. Nonprofit organizations gain valuable Information Technology leadership while IT Professionals have an opportunity to give back to their community in a unique and meaningful way by sharing their expertise with a nonprofit. Since GroundWork group began the program in 2004, we have recruited, trained and placed more than 100 IT Professionals onto nonprofit boards in Central Ohio.

Other Partnership Opportunities
Business Partnerships
GroundWork group seeks assistance from the business community to develop and implement technical solutions for nonprofit business challenges. Our business partners have helped create the Network Documentation processes, the Security Pilot Project, the Office Supply Discount project, the Overstock Liquidation process, the Telecom Pilot Project, the Website Pilot Project, and the Managed IT Services demonstration project. If your business has a product with broad applicability to nonprofit organizations, we would be happy to talk with you about the potential for a partnership. Please contact us!
Donate Equipment
GroundWork group can help businesses determine how best to liquidate quality, used equipment. Businesses are often besieged by nonprofits requesting any number of computers. It can be time-consuming to sort through requests and determine which ones to support. GroundWork group can help identify the equipment needs of various organizations and match corporate equipment donors with them or make it easy for your business to divert all or part of your used inventory to our refurbisher for use in the nonprofit sector. Please contact us to learn more!
